It’s been a year since the Building Safety Act came fully into force — a milestone that has reshaped how our industry thinks about accountability, competence, and the Golden Thread of information.

Over the past year, we’ve:

 Embedded Construction Control Plans across all higher-risk and complex schemes
 Introduced BSA-aligned competence frameworks for Principal Contractor and trade roles
 Strengthened our Mandatory Occurrence Reporting (MOR) and digital recordkeeping via our secure Arc Projects CDE
 Supported our supply chain with training, audits, and Building Safety accreditation readiness

The Act has undoubtedly placed greater responsibility on duty holders, but it’s also given clarity and purpose — ensuring that safety, compliance, and resident confidence sit at the heart of everything we build.

We’re proud to be part of a sector that continues to evolve, collaborate, and improve — one year on, but far from finished.
