Residents’ & Relatives’ Coffee Morning at Compton Lodge

We recently hosted a lovely coffee morning at Compton Lodge, bringing residents, relatives and staff together. It was heart-warming to hear how much the kindness of the team is valued, with families describing the care as amazing.

Compton Lodge is of local historical interest, once home to Dame Clara Ellen Butt DBE, and today provides personal, dementia and respite care for up to 32 residents as part of the Aster Group portfolio.

As part of Aster’s ongoing investment programme, Arc Group is delivering essential fire-safety upgrades, including new third-party accredited 30-minute fire-rated door sets to residents’ flats and selected communal areas. Doors are being finished to match existing colour schemes, supporting dementia wayfinding, with remaining communal doors overhauled and serviced.

All works are being carried out with care and minimal disruption, putting resident safety and wellbeing first.
