Belhus Leisure Centre
Belhus Leisure Centre, a busy facility in full operation, presented a unique challenge as we carried out significant refurbishment works while ensuring minimal disruption to its daily activities. The project encompassed roof renewal, mechanical & electrical installations, and the replacement of the pool’s filtration plant. Our success in delivering these complex tasks led to the subsequent award of a full refurbishments of all changing rooms.
Key Works:
- Roof Renewal: we utilised the Langley TA20 warm roof system with torch-on felt, providing a super-insulated solution designed to reduce the Centre’s future energy costs. The project included the careful installation of new roof lights, requiring expert design and detailed execution to maintain the high standards expected
- M&E Installations: our team upgraded the M&E systems to enhance the facility’s overall efficiency and reliability
- Filtration Plant Renewal: the original filtration system was replaced with a modern solution, including the installation of new boilers. This upgrade significantly improved the energy efficiency of the pool operations, aligning with our commitment to sustainable practices
