Greenwich Peninsula
As the Greenwich Peninsula community expands, Mace built five new residential apartment blocks and various commercial units. Arc Waterproofing were engaged to carry out roofing works to phase 1 of the project which involved two blocks. Furthermore, we designed, manufactured and installed a stair enclosure to provide access to the private roof terraces as well as installing bespoke dividing screens, bespoke specialist MEP housings, automated opening vents, access ladders and hatches to facilitate future maintenance without requiring entry to the two penthouse apartments.
The main challenge of this project was coordinating our works with those of other trades to allow the project to approach conclusion without any delay to the overall programme.
Our Challenge:
- Axter hot melt system
- Sedum roof
- Structural steel enclosures to create private terraces
- Kingspan cladding panels to lift overruns
- Stair enclosures to roof terraces
- Dividing screens to the terraces
- Children’s soft play area
- Bespoke specialist MEP housings
- Access ladders and hatches
- Bespoke planters
- Terrace finishes: decking, paving, pebbles
