International Stress Awareness Week | 3–7 November 2025
As we approach this year’s hashtag#InternationalStressAwarenessWeek, Arc is supporting the hashtag#HSE’sWorkingMinds campaign to remind employers across our industry to take action on work-related stress.

In 2023/24, around half of all work-related ill health cases in Great Britain were linked to stress, depression, or anxiety — with each affected worker taking an average of 20 days off. The impact is clear: increased absence, reduced productivity, and higher turnover.

At Arc, we recognise that mental health is just as important as physical safety. We continue to build an open culture where colleagues feel supported, able to speak up, and can access help early. Through regular check-ins, mental health training, and our supportive management framework, we’re committed to protecting our people and promoting wellbeing at work.

Managing stress isn’t just good practice — it’s a legal duty and an essential part of looking after your team.

Let’s all do our part to make construction a safer, healthier, and more supportive place to work.
