Virtual Tour & Arial Drone Technology
As part of an ongoing commitment to demonstrate added value to our clients, we have identified the close connection between Business Information Modelling (BIM) and the use of aerial drone and virtual tour technologies as visual data platforms. Integration of these technologies as one visual data platform provides our clients with a completed 3600 appreciation of the asset and using in-house IT expertise, we have developed the ability to record, store and view asset data and building compliance within the tour. Presenting asset and compliance data in this format illustrates an enormous innovation within the sector and represents the “next generation thinking” of how we can capture, tag and view asset and compliance data.
We have adopted drone technology to provide aerial photographs of the roof fabric including covering, chimney, parapets as well as any high-level elevations that would be difficult to visually inspect from ground floor level. High definition still photographs/video of the roof areas and high-level elevations will be captured and stored in Arc Projects to view.
